2 noted physicians explain the hazards of some common disinfectants.

The EPA has generated a list, List N, of disinfectants that are effective at eliminating COVID-19 from surfaces. This list of 554 disinfectants includes 466 that are toxic to humans and only 88 that are considered safe. While these disinfectants are recommended for surfaces, exposure to skin is still likely and it is important to eliminate dangerous chemicals completely from households and workplaces. In this presentation, Dr. Michael Ichniowski, a pediatrician, and Dr. Ana Rule, a professor at Johns Hopkins University, discuss both the risks associated with using toxic disinfectants and safer alternatives to these products.
